 Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) is being conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) New Delhi. This examination is conducted for screening the candidates to become eligible for applying against the posts of teachers in schools under the Central Board of Secondary Education. If any candidates wish to become teacher in Navodya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya and other such schools sponsored or aided by Government of India for them this test is a pre-requisite to be eligible to apply against the posts of teachers.

 Union Public Service Commission has stopped dispatching the admit card by post. Candidates applying for the posts advertised by UPSC are required to download the admit card from the official website of UPSC.

How to Download the Hall Ticket for GATE 2012


Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering (GATE) is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) & Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore by turn. This year Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) is the organizing and coordinating institute for conducting the GATE 2012 examination.


GATE 2012 is conducted online as well as offline. All eligible candidates who have applied for the said examination they will have to download the admit card by visiting the IIT or IISc website. Dispatch of Hall Ticket / Admit Card by post has been discontinued. It means candidates will have to download the admit card by visiting the official website.


Online Examination for GATE 2012 is scheduled to be held on 29 January 2012 while Offline Examination will be held on 12 February 2012. Candidates for appearing in the examination must carry the downloaded admit card along with valid photo identity card (PAN, Driving License, Notarised Affidavit, College ID Card, Voter ID Card etc.) as mentioned in the instructions available on the official website.
