IBPS Common Written Examination 2012 - CWE Specialist Officer CallLetter

Specialist Officer Common Written Examination

19 Public Sector Banks have decided to conduct a common written examination for recruiting Probationary Officer & Management Trainee. This Common Written Examination will be conducted by Indian Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). Written Test will be held twice an year. IBPS will issue the score card to participating candidate. Eligibility conditions for the post of P.O. or Management Trainee will be decided by the individual bank. This will serve as a pre requisite for applying against the officer cadre posts of P.O. & Management Trainee. CWE Score card issued by IBPS will be valid for one year. Candidates can appear in forthcoming CWE to enhance their score. Selection criteria for recruiting the candidates will be decided by the bank.
This step taken by 19 Public Sector Banks is in fact a new paradigm in banking recruitment process and it will help in saving millions of man hours and billions of rupees which otherwise would have been spent by the applicants for appearing in written test of different banks. Thus it is a win win situation for Banks as well as job seekers. List of Participating bank which will invited the application for recruitment to the post of P.O. & Management Trainee on the basis of CWE 2011 is given below.

Common Written Test for Specialist Officer
Institute of Banking & Personnel Selection (IBPS) has invited the application for recruitment to the posts of specialist officers cadre. The Common Written Test (CWE) will be held for Scale-I & Scale-II officers in different cadres. Those who wish to join as an officer in 19 public sector banks owned by Government of India. This common written test is held for the following posts.

  • Information & Technology (I.T.) Officer
  • Rajbhasha Adhikari
  • Technical Officer
  • Marketing Officer
  • Law Officer
  • Agricultural Field Officer
  • Law Officer
  • HR / Personnel Officer
Candidates wishing to apply for the Common Written Exam must check the eligibility conditions from the IBPS website. Application for CWE is to be submitted online. Fee can be either paid either online i.e. by using the Credit Card / Debit Card or by visiting the designated CBS branches of banks.

Interested and eligible candidates wishing to apply for CWE can visit the web link given below.

  • Last Date for Online Registration : 21 January 2012
  • IBPS Website : www.ibps.in
  • Availability of Admit Card on Website : After 28 February 2012
  • Written Exam : 11 March 2012

Candidates at time of written examination are required to carry the following documents.
  • Call Letter for Written Test
  • Original Photo ID Proof Mentioned in Call Letter
  • Original Fee Receipt Payment / eReceipt
  • Photocopy of Photo Identity Card
Candidates are required to download the admit card for Common Written Exam from the website of IBPS.

CWE Specialist Officer Admit Card / Call Letter Download

CWE Specialist Officers Call Letter for Written Test has been uploaded on the official website of IBPS. Those who had applied against the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Special Officers recruitment examination to be held on 11 March 2012 they can download the call letter from the official website of IBPS. You can download the call letter by visiting the official website and entering the registration number / roll number and Password and Date of Birth (DoB) of applicant. You can also take out the printout of application form from the IBPS website.
