CMAT 2012 to be Online

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced the scheduled for the first common entrance test for management course known as Common Management Admission Test (CMAT). CMAT 2012 will be held online at various centres across the country. Candidates who wish to take the CMAT exam to be held 20 - 28 February 2012 they can register for the same. Test will be held in two session everyday.


Online registration for CMAT can be done from 09 December 2011 to 09 January 2012. Results will be out soon after the examination is over. Tentative date for declaration of results is 11 March 2012.


Examination pattern includes four section viz. Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretations, Language Comprehension, Logical Reasoning & General Awareness. Each question will carry 4 marks and there will be negative marking. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be maximum of 100 questions i.e. 25 questions from each section carrying maximum of 400 marks.


Candidates applying for the CMAT 2012 can take the trial test online by visiting the official website. Trial Test will be available from 12 December 2011 onward.
